I went to Sonsbeek park, the largest one in Arnhem.
We walked for 2 hours around and inside the park. I shot some pictures, a couple of them came out really good in my opinion.
And I just read at Jeffrey Zeldman about a photoshop 7.0 action; Amelie Effect This action is to give your photo’s the same effect as used in de movie
Amelie which by the way is nice movie. So I
tried the action; here is an example:
The photo’s are small but you can see there is a different in the light. Here is a bigger version
of the one with the Amelie Effect:

I also added a photo of a deer. The last one has a
resolution of 960 by 1280.
Today we got a free day, so nothing to do and nowhere to go. I’m sitting here following
tennis(Roland Garros) on tv and the live stats on
internet.
The weather is really good today. Going for a drink in the city makes no sence, because all cafe’s terrace’s are jam packed. My sister and cousin+boyfriend may go rollerblading I think I’ll
go with them altough I don’t rollerblade. I’ll take my digital camera with me to shoot some photo’s and go to the McDonald’s around the corner. There goes my resolution to not eat junkfood until I go to Aruba next month. But smart me went yesterday to the supermarket and only bought food for one day forgetting that today all places are closed. So unless I want to eat plain spaghetti or plain chicken I’ll have to eat out doors.
These are the times I wish Holland had more subways, there is only one in another city. And on
tiny little Aruba we’ve got 3 subways.
On another subject: my website and college
I started reading Eric Meyer on CSS and I already have few things I want to change. One of them is
hiding my stylesheet from NN4. I have to
finish my college work also, 2 more weeks to go.
By June 23 I have to have a project for my internship at a company for September 1 2003 till
January 23 2004. So I’m starting to stress out because I still haven’t heard of the company at
which I aplied at Aruba. If they don’t take me I’ll have to find an internetship here in Holland
before June 23. On June 30 I’m going to Aruba until August 25. So things are really tight. If
I don’t get an internship I’ll be delayed for
another 5 months in my study, I’m already delayed 5 months.
But I’ll try and stay cool, if I don’t get an internship I can use those 5 months to pass all
subjects that I still have to do. Then I’ll only
have to do 2 internships and then I’m finished
with college.
