After a lot of thinking and reading of reviews. I decided to buy a new digital camera of 3 megapixel with more than 3x optical zoom. I was deciding between the Fuji FinePix 3800 or the Fuji FinePix S5000 I went to the store to buy the 3800 because it has better reviews being a year old camera. And the S5000 just got released. But then at the store after holding the S5000 I decided to go for it.
Things I like about the S5000
- It is heavier than the 3800, so it shakes less
- It has a 10x optical zoom
- A lot of image quality functions, especialy the adjustable shutter speed
- It can take a serie of 5 photographs or more
- A button special for setting the exposure and a focus button
- External flash
- It does’nt use a lot of a battery live like other cameras
The negative:
- It doesn’t has a lens stabilizer so when using the zoom beyond 5x any shakiness is noticable, but with a steady hand you have no problems in my opinion
All in all I like this camera for my needs. I’m
just an amateur
I still have to dominate the
camera to get superB photo’s.
