Darice de Cuba

Well it has been very quiet around here lately. Since on Aruba I barely use internet so that explains the no activity. I still got 2 weeks more before I fly back to Holland.

These days I’ve been watching CNN most of the time keeping up with the latest news about the Tsunami Disaster. It’s very sureal what happened there, all the people who died, all the damage. It makes you realise how vulnerable we all are on this earth. I hope that the people there will get the inner force to be able to move on and build up their lives again.

I hope you all had a nice Christams/Hannukah and that the year 2005 will bring lots of good things.

With 2 weeks more to go for my flight back I should start getting serious and start working on my photography, I barely took pictures these last week. I really need to show you all about Aruba…

Have a safe year transition

Since monday December 13 I’m back on Aruba. It’s so good to be back, it made me realize I so want to leave Holland for good. On Aruba I’m more relaxed, I have no trouble sleeping at night I wake up every morning before 8 a.m. Most morning I take a short walk to make photos, then I breakfast and read a little.

I still have to go to the beach, I’ve been busy with other things. Maybe today I’ll get a chance to go for a quick swim.

We don’t have DSL right now so I’m on dialup, uploading picture is very time consuming. When I get a nice batch I’ll go to a cafe to use WiFi and set some albums on Flickr. Meanwhile enjoy this photo of my home and check my Flickr account for a couple of photos.
