My Odd SocksOctober 24th, 2005

Since I bought my iPod nano I’ve been avoiding carrying it around to much. This because the black version shows more scratch and I still hadn’t gotten a cover for it. The current covers available for the nano are not my style; rubbery, big or complicated.

My Odd Socks Through my job I came across MyOddSocks this company is run by the guys next door here in the building. These are like the iPod socks only that they have different fabric, more variation and for all iPods, from the regular one, Shuffle and Nano. And it’s not limited to iPods only but also small cameras and mobile phones.

I just got a pack of two socks for my nano. Looks like it will be the ideal cover for it. To keep it scratch free and warm during fall/winter. I’ll post a few more better pictures when I get home.

Meanwhile check out their [site]((http://www.myoddsocks.com/), there is an online buying possibility coming soon.

At workOctober 19th, 2005

This week I started my final internship. This will include five months of PHP, AJAX, CSS and XHTMl. Considering I got my own brand new workstation; a Mac mini, a 20 inch Cinema Display and a Mighty Mouse it should be a joy working. And I won’t have to take my iBook each day which is kind of tiring doing everyday.

As I’ll be spending even more time then usual behind the computer I ordered [Agile Web Development with Rails](http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/ detail/-/097669400X/002-5681136-4371210?v=glance) So when I need a break from PHP I can dive into RoR.

First thing I learned already: use custom icons for my folders, no more rows of endless blue folders. I can’t believe it took me almost 2 years using OS X before learning how.
