Just a day and a half more to go to wrap up year 2005. Lots of new things came this year web wise. The year started slow and then started to get interesting with the coming of 9rules Network which I joined on startup. I have lots of new visitors thanks to them.
The whole Mint hype starts. Topping with its release in September. Since then Mint began its up-rise.
This year [AJAX](http://www.google.com/search? q=ajax&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client= firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official) became the new web thing which is the talk of the web everyday. And remember AJAX isn’t AJAX without the XML!
Another Apple iPod raises dust. The iPod Nano takes the compactness of iPod to a whole new level and then almost comes crashing with all those scratch issues. And not a month later iPod Video is released with a mere 2 hours battery on video play.
For me those have been some of the web/tech highlights of the year. Of course there are way more but I’m not involved with the other ones. For now the biggest thing for 2006 I expect to be the Intel based Apple which are speculated to be released as soon as January.
