The Deathly Hallows

July 23rd, 2007

The last book of the Harry Potter series concludes the story very well. All main plots are answered and secrets are revealed. J.K. Rowling once said that book 6 and 7 should be considered as one. So if you look at it like that book 7 does the job well.

I just took a look at a forum to see other opinions and its the people who got the illegal edition of the internet that didn’t like the book. Sorry but if you can’t wait for the original book you don’t treasure this series enough. I’m very disappointed at all the spoilers and leak. This is after all a children’s book and for adults to go make illegal copies and put online is beyond childish.

But back to the book, when I finished I had one word for it: brilliant! I took my time to read it so not to miss details. And to savor it off course being the last book. Next follows a few points.

Spoilers ahead!

Twenty Six

July 9th, 2007

Today I turn 26, yesterday I was 20 and today I’m already 26. Time flies by. I can say I’m pretty wise for my age, with all I have gone through in those 25 years of my life. I earned my 26 years so to say.

I have nothing big planned, my uncle is taking us to a nice dinner at an Italian restaurant that is one of my favorites. And during the day I guess I’ll just stay home, maybe hit the city for some window shopping.

On a sadder note last Thursday my dog passed away. He just turned 4 years last month. It is the first time I had a pet this long that I cared so much for. I never thought I’d cry so much for losing a pet. He’ll be missed.
