New Froggy Studio designSeptember 13th, 2007

I finally redesigned Froggy Studio and simplified the content. Since this week I’m officially full time freelancer. Soon my student loan will stop and I’ll have to fully provide for myself. I must say it’s a bit scary as I will totally depend on the amount of work I get to pay bills and stuff.

Today I bought the Dutch freelancing handbook of 2007 to learn more about taxes, benefits for freelancers, insurance and the list goes on. Froggy Studio is already officially registered for tax control and I still have to send in the application at Chamber of Commerce, it’s already filled out I just have to send it in.

I can’t wait to start work and being productive each day delivering projects to clients. And off course to keep improving my skills and learn more new things, as the web grows each day. I’m open for work from everywhere not just Holland. Most of all I hope to get clients from Aruba to be part of the growing internet activity there.

The design

The design for Froggy Studio is simple and clean they way I like it. I use Textpattern, and I implemented the ability to have the content in multiple language. I went with English and Dutch as those are the main languages of visitors of my site. I haven’t tested yet on Windows/IE so there might be errors there. Overall I’m happy with the site, it serves its purpose well.
