Two Girls Down
- August 6th, 2019 -All the best books I read, I come across via Instagram it seems. The latest one being Two Girls Down by Louisa Luna.
How could I resist after such glowing review. I downloaded Two Girls Down on my Kindle* right away. Read it within two days. Louisa Luna introduces us to tough, hardcore, smart – bounty hunter, Alice Vega.
If there is one kind of heroine I like in my books, it is the anti-hero. Alice Vega lives for one thing only; find the missing kids. She doesn’t care about laws, protocol, sleeping, eating, nothing.
She enlists ex-cop Max Caplan to aide her in her search. Together the two are unstoppable.
The moment you start reading this book it sucks you in, the suspense is relentless until the very end. The supporting characters give the story that extra, especially Max’s teenage daughter who is a likable smart-ass. A vanilla version of Veronica Mars.
Imagine my disappointment when I realized the long wait before The Janes is published. Of course I’m too late to request an ARC on Netgalley. It’s a matter of patience now.
I give Two Girls Down 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
* An e-reader is the best for when the mood strikes to read a book right in that moment, but it’s after stores closing time.
